Meet Lindsey!
Dog Walker

Hi there! My name is Lindsey, and I am the newest addition to Bandito Pet Sitting. Most of you have yet to meet me, so I will tell you a bit about myself. I am a wife to my amazing husband of 11 years, and mother to two of the best little dudes I've ever known (but being their mom I may be a bit biased). In addition to my two boys I am also the proud mom of a couple fur balls as well. We have Mally the dog, and Bobo the cat. They are best buds and basically spend all day together.
Over the years I have owned many dogs. I love them all from small guys to giants! My favorite girl was our pit bull Lou. She was an amazing little ball of energy who had quite the rough start to life. At the young age of 9 months she came to us and we were her 3rd home. She was not spayed, untrained, and pretty much hated women, other dogs and cats. Over the next year and a half I made it my mission to bring this beauty to her full potential. Within that time frame I was able to train her to understand non verbal commands and only used hand signals. I taught her how to not treat cats like squirrels, and how to interact with other dogs in a positive way instead of having such an aggressive reaction to them. She honestly blew me away with her achievements, and she taught me that I absolutely love training dogs. I love seeing them blossom into the dogs they were born to be. She made me realize that working with animals was a road I needed to travel.
Sadly Lou passed from health problems at 3 1/2. Due to the neglect she had been through before and her medications for untreated Lyme disease, her poor little organs couldn't handle it. In October 2014 we had to say goodbye to my little love. Her brother Mally had a rough start as well. We rescued him from SC back in 2009. He had scar tissue on his ears from being used as a chew toy, severe skin infections, and he was very afraid of pretty much anything. After a couple of months of training and getting loved to death by my two boys he had come out of his shell. He is by far one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and I feel grateful both of them were brought into my life.
On top of training dogs, I also bake in my free time. People treats and dog treats! My dog has a very sensitive stomach and is on a limited diet so I needed to come up with a snack he could have that was all natural and wouldn't irritate him. So using only oatmeal, peanut butter and banana I created his favorite treat in the world. And they are great for him too which makes it that much better.
But enough about me...I cannot wait to meet with you all and get to know you and your animals! I can promise all of you that I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. I take great pride in what I do and I enjoy every second of it.
