Our Policies
Payment
First time clients must pay in full during the consultation visit. Initial consult is free; any subsequent consults requested by client or myself are subject to standard visit rate. Established clients are billed each Saturday for the upcoming week and payment is due on Monday (or first day of service for that week).
Invoice will be subject to a $10 late fee for every 7 days the invoice is overdue and no further service requests will be accepted until account is made current. History of late payments will result in forfeit of future service arrangements with Bandito Pet Sitting and key(s) will be returned if they were kept on file.
Payments for all services can be made with cash, check, and debit/credit cards. A "return check charge" of no less than $20 will be incurred for all returned checks, plus any bank fees.

Same-day/Last Minute Service Requests
Any service requests made for less than 12 hour notice will be scheduled if possible with no additional fees.

Cancellations
Dog Walking/Potty Breaks - 24-hour notice is required or client will be billed for scheduled visits. If less notice is given, credits will be issued at our discretion.
Vacation Sitting - 48-hour cancellation notice is required or client will be billed 50% of fee for booked services.
Overnight Sitting - A 50% non refundable deposit will be due within 3 days of confirmation to secure your reservation for overnight sitting. Requests made over major holiday periods will be required to pay remainder of balance 4 weeks prior to start date.
Holiday cancellation policy: 15 or more days notice prior to departure is required for clients to incur no charge; 7-14 days notice prior to departure client will be charged 50% of total fee; and with 6 or fewer days notice prior to departure full payment is required.
There will be no credits or refunds for late departures or early arrivals.

SNOW REMOVAL
Effective Feb 11, 2015 all reservation requests for November thru April will now be required to setup snow removal for your property (driveway, path to door, etc) and provide us with their contact information. Failure to do so will result in automatic denial of request. We are not a snow removal company. Snow removal that we will handle will be to take care of where your dogs go the bathroom outside and if under 3 inches of snow have fallen. Safe access to inside your home is essential. Our main priority is your pets so please help us to do our job efficiently by setting up these additional (and required) services.

Confirming Your Return
We require that you confirm your return (for vacation sitting), regardless of time of day. A confirmation of your return home may be made via email, text, or phone call. Please confirm your return before the next scheduled visit time. If we have not heard from you and are unable to reach you, we may make an additional visit to your pet(s) to ensure their well-being. You will be charged for this visit, even if you are home. We need to know when you have physically returned to your home as this completes the legal transfer of responsibility for pet and home care.

Shared Pet Care/Property Access Policy
Due to insurance limitations, third party pet care and property access is permitted only if you release us from liability for pet(s) and property during the time(s) the third party is granted access to the home, whether sharing responsibility for your pet(s) and/or property or not. This includes family, friends, neighbors, etc. Third-party pet caregivers must enter notes stating times they fed, medicated, and walked pets. Pet care will be performed by only Bandito Pet Sitting during all assignments unless prearranged with client We cannot grant entry to third party vendors (housekeepers, service repairmen, etc.), nor can we manage pets while these people are in your home.

Veterinary Care
In the event veterinary treatment is required involving the health of any animal being cared for by us, you authorize us to obtain such veterinary care for the pet(s) as we may deem necessary. You agree to arrange to pay all veterinary charges incurred with the specified veterinarian. A Veterinary Care Authorization form must be completed and signed by you before our services begin.
